About Constructive Communities

Constructive Communities helps teams more deeply align their culture and practices with their organizational values through a variety of training, facilitation, and consulting that promotes effective communication, collaboration, and tools for resolving conflict. We work with local and international non-profits, youth development practitioners, schools, camps, and community groups. We are passionate about creating transformative experiences for clients that equip them with the tools to sustain healthy workplace culture, handle challenges more confidently, and work better together.

Founder and Lead Facilitator

Liz London is the founder and lead facilitator of Constructive Communities. She has worked with community-based organizations, youth development practitioners, public schools, international non-profits, summer camps, universities, government employees, grassroots movements, and a wide variety of other communities and partners. She holds a Master’s of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University, where she now teaches Restorative Justice to undergraduate students.

Liz creates customized, interactive workshops and facilitation that provide best practices and skill-building for teams looking to promote effective communication and tools for managing conflict. She is passionate about creating transformative experiences for clients that equip them with the tools to sustain healthy workplace culture, handle challenges more confidently, and work better together.

Previously, she worked as a Program Manager for Access Youth, Inc. supporting conflict mediation and whole school restorative practices at public high schools in Washington D.C. She has also served as a Program Manager at One Common Unity, coordinating an afterschool peace education program for youth in D.C.; facilitated book groups and poetry workshops with youth in Chicago at Literature for All of Us; and worked as a dialogue facilitator with Face to Face/Faith to Faith, an international, interfaith dialogue-based program for teens.

Liz is from New York City and received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College. Outside of work, Liz loves to travel as much as possible, cook, practice yoga, and play with her very chatty toddler and her very smiley baby.
